LOCATION - BONDI
Bondi Beach is one of Australia's most
famous beaches and among the world's most well-known beaches. It is located in
the Municipality of Waverley in east Sydney. The beach, roughly a kilometre
long, is enclosed at the north and south by headlands. Every day of the year
lifeguards patrol the beach between the yellow and red flags.
It is not difficult to find Bondi Beach as
long as you get to Sydney, New South Wales. If you are coming to Bondi
Beach, leave your car behind if you can. Public transport is quick and cheap.
Parking can be difficult at the beach. Parking meters are in all the main
streets close to the beach.
Bondi is well served by public transport.
Buses run to the beach at 10 minute intervals or better all day from Bondi
Junction. Services are less frequent after about 9:30 pm at night, with buses
every 15 minutes until midnight and, as a last resort, a bus runs every hour all
night. On Friday and Saturday nights there are buses every half hour all night.
The railway station at Bondi Junction is
about 2 kilometres back from the beach. The train service generally runs every
10 minutes, seven days a week. All buses from the beach to the city go via the
railway station.
BONDI LIONS CLUB
Bondi Lions Club was chartered in the year 1956 and still has four of its
Charter members actively involved in the furtherance of the club.

Turkish Lions' contribution, the Brisbane Ekibin Lions Club of MD 201 Q1
(Australia) offer assistance to Lions Clubs who want to take advantage of the
Turkish Lions offer, but are not familiar with web publishing. They've already
set up many sites for Lions Clubs world-wide, using Lionwap.
If your club wants to be on the internet, and would like some help, leave a
message in the Ekibin Guest Book by clicking on the image above. This is a FREE
SERVICE, so you don't spend a cent for their work. As Lionwap is also FREE, this
means you get a web site that you NEVER have to pay for. - Is that a deal or

All your Club has to do it have some-one update and maintain your page, which
needs not take more than a few minutes each month. The Ekibin Lions will even
